Join us to learn about the new Franciscan Health Cancer Center Lafayette facility, meet the Purdue students, and build professional connections at the popular ISHE Purdue event! This year the event takes place at Franciscan Health Lafayette Central Campus on February 19th. We have applied to ASHE for CEUs for this event.
Franciscan Health Cancer Center Lafayette is a brand-new, state-of-the-art, all-inclusive cancer center which is expected to open in early 2024. This three-story, 68,000-square-foot facility will bring together existing services into one state-of-the-art facility, located outside the North entrance of Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus.
Topics will include:
- The construction of the facility, along with the healthcare equipment being installed for use. Presenter: Adam Schwalm, Senior Project Manager, Tonn and Blank, has led the new Cancer Center project to successful delivery. He will walk the attendees through the construction process. Adam is a demonstrated leader with an excellent track record of delivering projects that exceed the performance criteria for cost, schedule, and quality.
- Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), computer-based systems that controls and monitors electrical usage, power quality and efficiency. Presenter: Matthew Klok, CEM, CBCP, CEA, Critical | Digital Power Representative for Havel, an EMCOR company. Matthew has been working in the industry since 2001. He has a B.S. HVAC/R Engineering degree from Ferris State University and is a Certified Energy Manager | CEM (#19314), Certified Building Commissioning Professional | CBCP (#2110), and Certified Energy Auditor | CEA (#2501). Since 2009, he has been involved with more than 200 major GSC projects.

Room: Meeting room is on 1141/1142 on the first floor.
Parking: Parking is available in parking garage located at the corner of 17th and Tippecanoe Streets and the surface lot on the opposite side of Tippecanoe Street across from the parking garage. See the campus map, ground floor map, and first floor map.
Directions to meeting rooms: Visitors may enter through the parking lot elevator lobby or the lower ramp entrance that is west of the parking garage.
To enter through the parking garage, use the elevators at the southwest corner of the parking garage. Go to 2nd Floor/Skywalk. Upon exiting the elevators, use the intercom button in the lobby and tell the operator know you’re here for the ISHE Meeting. You’ll be buzzed in. Go to the end of the skywalk and take an elevator down to the Ground Floor. Follow the signs to the “A” Elevators and use these elevators to go to the 1st Floor. Meeting rooms are across from the elevators. (See attached maps)
To enter from the Lower Ramp, use the intercom button near the door and tell the operator you’re here for the ISHE Meeting. They will buzz you in. Go proceed through the door and continue straight. Meeting rooms are on the right.
