Join your ISHE colleagues on September 18, 2025, at 2 pm for an exclusive insider tour of the new IU Health Academic Health Center in downtown Indianapolis. 

Please plan to arrive between 1:30 – 2:00 as that would be the least disruptive to the 7th floor occupants. The event begins at 2:00.

Here is the parking and location information:

– Use the main entrance off N Senate Blvd between 16th St and 21st St. The garage height limit is 6′ 8″.

– To validate your parking you must park in garage #2 (the blue garage). We can validate the parking at the event, just bring your parking ticket with you.

– Attached is a photo of the campus map you will see as you enter from garage #2.

– Follow the blue lines (Professional Ave) until you get to the green lines (Main Street) and turn left. The Palm Tree elevators will be down and to the right (turn right at the coffee shop). 

– Take one of the 3 elevators there to the 7th floor.

– Exit the elevators and turn right, follow the signs.

As a reminder, we will walk the exterior of the construction site about 4 PM if anyone is interested. 

Here is the tentative information, subject to change:

• There is a limit of 50 individuals for a presentation and virtual tour of the mocked-up rooms/space that will take place on the 7th floor of IU Health Methodist Hospital overlooking the construction.
• We will focus on the CUP (Central Utility Plant), as well as the new hospital, in the presentation only.
• We will break into 2 groups: One group for the presentation and the other for seeing the mock-up of the rooms on that floor. The groups will then swap.
• If you would like to walk the construction site perimeter, we will do so at approximately 4 pm. We cannot go into construction zones, but we would have a nice external tour.
• Drinks and snacks will be provided.
• An online presentation for those who are unable to register may be possible, but we are still working through those details.
