Purdue TAP has teamed up with Indiana Michigan Power to provide three opportunities to learn about Motor System energy efficiency.

July 7th: South Bend, IMP Service Center
July 17th: Muncie, IMP Service Center
July 18th: Fort Wayne, IMP New Haven Service Center

Motor driven systems such as pumps, fans, blowers, and compressors are the single largest users of electricity in manufacturing. Learn how to reduce energy costs by properly sourcing and maintaining motor driven systems. Attendees of this course will also learn how to use the U.S. Department of Energy’s MotorMaster software system to determine potential energy and cost savings.

If you have responsibility for motor driven systems or energy use at your facility, this workshop is intended for you.

Registration: fill out the registration form in one of the attached brochures and fax to Purdue Continuing Education and Conference Services.

Fee: Normally $125, registration is being offered at $75.00/person thanks to generous support from Indiana Michigan Power.

* Please register at least two weeks prior to the workshop: This will ensure we have sufficient training materials and catering for everyone.

A $25.00 late fee will be assessed on late registrations.

Purdue TAP has teamed up with Timpont REMC and Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. to host this 1-day end-user workshop on fan and blower systems.

July 23rd: Lafayette, SIA Training Center

Is your fan system operating within its fan and system curves? If not, it could be wasting energy and causing expensive and unncessary maintenance costs. Learn how to properly configure your fan or blower system to operate at its optimum efficiency. Attendees of this workshop will also learn how to use the U.S. Department of Energy’s Fans System Assessment Tool (FSAT) software tool to compare different system configurations and quantify potential energy savings.

If you have responsibility for the fan and blower systems at your plant, or if you have financial responsibility for energy costs, this workshop is intended for you.

Registration: fill out the registration form for this workshop and fax to Purdue Continuing Education and Conferece Services as directed.

Fee: $125.00/person

* Please register at least two weeks prior to the workshop: A $25.00 late fee will be assessed on late registrations after July 9th.
