This is the first seminar to focus exclusively on electrical system requirements for health care facilities – through the performance and testing criteria in NFPA 99, Standard for Health Care Facilities, and the installation requirements in NFPA 70, National Electrical Code. These two nationally recognized documents have significant impact on the full spectrum of health care facilities: from designing and building, to operating. They affect the electrical safety of patients, visitors, and staff. And both have been revised for 2005 (the NEC has been revised for 2008).

Now is the time to learn about them from the two instructors who literally know these documents inside and out. They staffed the committees that revised the documents. Burton Klein edited five editions of the NFPA 99 Handbook on Health Care Facilities; Mark Ode edited three editions of the NEC Handbook.

Now you can learn from them directly on Tuesday & Wednesday, October 30 & 31, 2007 at Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., 333 Pfingsten Road, Northbrook, IL 60082 (off I-94).
