Join us for this 1-day workshop that will cover theory of operation of compressors and other chiller components and provide an understanding of how chillers and towers work together. Attendees will learn how to diagnose symptoms of a system out of balance and what is required to bring it back to optimization. Proper maintenance of system components will be addressed as well as minimizing energy use. Course materials are tailored to address issues common to large institutional and commercial facilities.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND


This workshop is designed for engineers, contractors, facility managers, and other professionals who have responsibility for the performance of chilled water systems and/or cooling towers in institutional and commercial facilities.

 

THE INSTRUCTOR  

William J. Turpish, P.E., CEM has over 30 years of experience in energy assessment, consulting, and equipment applications for utilities and industrial clients. He has conducted over 70 chiller and cooling tower studies for the NC Department of Commerce (Energy Div), and over 200 for major industrial clients.

 

CEU CREDITS  

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for this workshop. Be sure to check with event staff the day ofthe workshop.
