ASHE Student Chapter
Purdue University ASHE Student Chapter is dedicated to promoting and educating the student body in the planning, design, construction, operations, and management of all healthcare facilities. As a Building Construction Management focused chapter, we attract young professionals to the world of healthcare facility management and construction.
This chapter consists of four officers that are currently in their junior year at Purdue University. President Scott Sarason (Industrial Technology and Industrial Distribution), Vice President Brian Tominov (Building Construction Management), Treasurer Kevin Brugh (Building Construction Management) and Secretary Eric Keplinger (Building Construction Management). These officers carry the full responsibility of making sure the day to day activates are performed.
The Chapter currently holds 28 active student members. Members have the opportunity to join 7 subcommittees. The subcommittees are:
- Marketing
- Industrial Relations
- Alumni Relations
- Philanthropy
- Historian
- Research and Development
- Information Technology
Although we are a young chapter, we have accomplished a myriad of goals as an organization. Our events to date consist of:
- Student Call-out / Grill out
- Pre career fair company meet n' greet
- Career fair booth
- ISHE/ Purdue ASHE Tailgate with tickets to game
- Completed Monon Clinic Philanthropy
- Beck Lane Boys and Girls Club Philanthropy
- Attended PDC Conferences for the past three years
- Attended Annual ASHE conference
- Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference (Indianapolis IN)
- Brought guest speakers to Purdue University
- Hosted ISHE/ASHE HCC Training
And again, this year in conjunction with the state chapter ISHE, we are proud to once again host the Annual Meeting and HCC training seminar at Purdue University.
